Hi there, welcome to The Third Coast Lifestyle! I’m Lisa Shefferly and through my career as a Registered Nurse, I’ve learned more clearly that being healthy and living a meaningful life is more valuable than anything.

As the saying goes, “A healthy man wants a thousand things; a sick man only wants one.” - Confucius

​​As a Nurse Coach I'm dedicated to supporting individuals on a deeper emotional and behavioral level, especially those navigating chronic illness, stress, or meaningful lifestyle changes. I work closely from young parents to aging adults and their families, and I’ve seen how deeply parenting and caregiver stress can impact a person’s overall wellbeing.

My approach is rooted in wholeperson, heartcentered care. By blending clinical expertise with mindset work and behavioral support, I empower individuals to understand their stress triggers, build healthier habits, and stay motivated through meaningful goals and accountability. My focus is always on empowering people to move toward greater balance, resilience, and a more fulfilling quality of life.

During our initial consultation, we’ll slow down and explore where you are, what you’re longing for, what's been weighing on your heart, and the stressors that have been quietly piling up. From that conversation, we create a plan together that honors your needs, your rhythm, and the life you’re trying to create.

What is your typical coaching process and frequency?

The length of our work together depends on your goals and the kind of change you’re seeking. Most people begin with weekly sessions to build momentum and new habits. Some find what they need within a few months; others choose to stay longer for continued support. We’ll check in regularly, notice what’s shifting, and adjust coaching plans as transformation develops.
